Education Center Information

IWU Louisville Education and Conference Center:

The traditional campus of Indiana Wesleyan University is located in Marion, Indiana. IWU consists of three colleges, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Graduate Studies, and the College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS).  CAPS offers site-based classes in 13 education and conference centers throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

The IWU Louisville Education Center campus is located in Kentucky’s largest metropolitan area. IWU Louisville started in Kentucky in the year 2000 with a humble campus consisting of only eight classrooms.  This center was located at Shelbyville Road and Hurstbourne Parkway.  By the year 2004, IWU Louisville had reached classroom capacity.  A search commenced to find land to build a new state-of-the-art education and conference facility.  Land was found in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, the second largest city in Jefferson County.  The new IWU Louisville building project began in the spring of 2005.  Construction was completed in December 2005, with a grand opening celebration in March 2006.  IWU Louisville is committed to serving the continuing education needs of working adult students in the Louisville and Jefferson County community.
